Class Schedule

Location
Heiwa-Ryu Martial Arts Academy is located in San Francisco Bay Area. We train in the city of Walnut Creek, California. Currently we are meeting at Walnut Creek Church of Christ (WCCC) near Countrywood shopping center.

Time
At this time we are offering class one night per week. However, we have plans for increasing the number of training nights based upon student enrollment. Class is currently split into 3 sessions held every Thursday night:
6:00pm - 6:45pm Beginners / Juniors
7:00pm - 7:45pm Intermediate
7:45pm - 8:30pm Advanced

Schedule
Heiwa-Ryu is currently scheduled to meet at WCCC. Please contact us prior to attendance in the event of an unannounced change in plans. A Map Link is provided below, and you can get directions to WCI from your specific location from Yahoo!

Cost
Heiwa-Ryu Martial Arts Academy is a non-profit organization, but charges dues of $30 per person per month paid quarterly in advance. We offer a Family Tuition Package which is:

• Standard $30 for the first family member
• Only $15 for additional members

While all dues are paid in advance, we do offer reduced rate plans for 6 month pre-pay (5% discount) and for one year enrollment (10% discount). We also offer a flat 10% discount to all military personnel (reserve members included) and Law Enforcement officers.
Please note that when we begin to offer training two, or more, nights per week the dues will be doubled ($40.00 per month) in order to pay for the use of a training facility.

Scholarship Program
If for some reason a student or prospective member of Heiwa-Ryu Martial Arts Academy is unable to afford the payment schedule, we have instituted a scholarship program. This program is designed to provide the student to "work" for their training in some form of volunteer, or community service, organization.

Student Requirements
The following is required of all prospective students: be at least 10 years of age^* with a parent or guardian in attendance at all training sessions; no serious or debilitating illness or physical condition; practice a religion that teaches to be good and do good to others (this is required for spiritual growth); be motivated to learn and train hard. Heiwa-Ryu Martial Arts Academy is in the process of developing a Junior Martial Arts Program to be offered in the future. Please note that Heiwa-Ryu reserves the right to refuse enrollment to anyone at anytime without reason.
